I have been watching MadTV lately. It just seems that their skits are really funny or really stupid. Has anyone ever made it outside of that show? I know artie is on Stern and Nicole sullivan is on King of queens. I just think they *try* do be funny most of the time rather then acutually accomplishing it.

SNL has had a rebound this year (Olsen Twins and Janet Jackson episodes in particular), but MadTV has been funnier for years. MadTV has a nearly all new crew this season, and people like Stephanie Wier and that Matthew McConahey(?) lookalike really stand out. That Mark Wahlberg lookalike does well too. Mo Collins is a hoot!!!

To me, SNL even in it's lean years was still light-years ahead of Mad TV.

I really enjoy Start, Lorraine and Ms Swan from Mad TV. I've never found anything else funny.
