OK, it's simple. Every week I'll post a poll with 2 music choices. If you had to pick one song over the other which would it be? Then, if you like, nominate a song for the next poll.
If none of the nominees receive multiple votes I'll pick. Hell, I might pick one out of my arse, anyway. The winner of the week will face a challenger next week...and so on.
So pick the winner for this week!

So far it looks like a decent matchup. And hey, people, if you wanna see different songs then nominate 'em and they'll appear in future matchups.
G'nite, all.

For next week, I nominate:
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes
And if you're not familiar with that song, give my vote to:
Depeche Mode - Its No Good

At the other extreme, it's hard to get people to participate when your bands are local garage bands. How obscure can it be and still have been heard by enough people to get votes?
Nominate a song. If enough people back you up it will be in the next poll.

I think people have a pretty broad range of music tastes here.

That's what I want to know. Sure, U2 is better than Elton John, but we're comparing songs, not artists.

I think I'm just demographically destined to pick the loser. I'm a Tony Danza fan too.

Then you're like me, eh? Just a snippet of the theme to Taxi and I'm awash in happiness.
