Just looked at the fine BBC web site which always has three or four ticker headlines at the top of the front page. Looks like the perverse interest in celebrity we have in the West suggests that the following two news snippets are deemed to be of approximately equal importance (I suppose news-worthyness = celebrity status level x implications of the event).








(Decided this wasn't 'politics' as such).

Did you actually check the RSS feed? Because that header is rolling not static.
