Tragic ending.

Seems to be a lot of pain going around this week... I've got my own to deal with and share. On October 20th around 3:30am my friend who had enlisted with the US Army - he wanted to be a medic - was shot and fatally wounded by a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head.
I had a good number of years growing up with him and it was one of those great liberal/conservative friendships where the conversations never got old and boring, heh. It'd had been a couple years since he moved back to the states but it seems good friends never quite leave you.
Take your friendships to heart people as there isn't enough time otherwise.

Could be what he saw in a war situation that sent him along this path... but I guess we'll never know for sure.
