Celine sings praises of new Air Canada
Although the specifics aren't given, I suspect they gave her at least 5 million bux, or possibly 10 million plus.
Fresh out of bankruptcy protection... Are they clueless, or just arrogant?
Celine in the new outfits:

Is she supposed to help sales?!? I'm feeling the opposite here.
Now here is a quality Canadian they should have hired...

I don't like her either. And even without her, the ads are quite lame.
BTW, this is appropriate:
" Celebrity endorsements work only when the personality's credibility is related to the product or service or when the values of the person are a benefit to the brand. In this case, there is an "element of credibility" since Ms. Dion travels a lot and flies Air Canada. She also brings glamour, which Air Canada could be seeking, he said. He added, however that Air Canada would have been better served to focus its advertising on improved customer service instead."
Or at least the second half is appropriate. Air Canada has quite poor customer service.

Umm, I know I am going to open myself up to tremendous ridicule for not knowing who this guy is?
But who the HELL is he?

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Sorry.
Big difference there yes indeed.
I am a fan of both.
One of them need serious mental help,
and the other kills kids on Halloween.

stupid move - there are just as many people that despise celine dion as those that like her (there are not too many that fall in the middle...) - i happen to despise her and if they start pumping that pablum she calls music into the cabin at any point during my flights i will be letting them know it is not welcome.

Mr. Blur? Yes we would like to have a few words with you. If you could step over here and strip, that would be great.

Celine is rather popular here. I can't say I hate all of her music and for an airline suffering as badly as Air Canada it can only help.

Keep in mind Milton isn't exactly a financial mastermind. Looks like they're going mainly for the international market and that should help them.
