And, since it is a full moon, and October, it will be classified as a Hunter's Moon (or the blood moon, to some) and will be a fantastic shade of red!

Last full eclipse of the moon for a couple of years so get those cameras and telescopes out!

Hopefully we get some vibrant colors! I wish I would have bought that Meade now, instead of waiting until after xmas. Oh well.

I wasn't going to post the info, as the weather was supposed to be foggy here and being selfish, if I can't see it then nobody else needs to! But, since I didn't see another post about it, I decided not to hog the info (not that someone else wouldn't have read about it).

Unfortunately, I had to go testify first thing this morning, and not being a morning person, I forgot to pack up my camera to take to work with me. We have some tall buildings that would have made a great vantage point of pictures, but no this eclipse

I'm currently going outside every fifteen minutes to take pics...don't have a great comera though so they're not coming out great.
Plus, there's a god damn apartment building blocking the view by inches across the street.

Jesus man, leave the building! You don't need to be a rocket surgeon to figure out how to watch an eclipse.
.

Is it as clear in Ithaca as it is here? The sky is absolutely perfect. I only wish I was at home, where there is far less light pollution. I'm sure it would be much more impressive

Hey, everybody! There's an eclipse!
Do you want forgiveness or respect?
