Personally, I feel sorry for the guy. If the attorney had some sort of fund set up to help him I have to say that I'd flip the guy a few bucks.

Organ donor or not, he owed the money BEFORE he donated. It would be no different if he was in a major car accident and in the hospital.

It's nice that he was generous with donating a kidney to a stranger, but what's going on in his head? He's irresponisble towards his own daughter and regarding a court order. I respect that he's saving a man's life, and putting that priority above alll others is truely benevolent. But it seems a shame that he can't do a little for his own family when that asks for even less of a sacrifice.

But, being put into JAIL right after a major surgery like that?
That's pretty sad.
