Got our floors done today. Any way to get rid of the smell? Got the ceiling fan going, windows open, and it still reeks.

It's just a matter of time.

Windows and doors open should help a lot, but the poly. really just needs to cure completely and then the smell should go away. A few days at most.

Find some nice roadkill and throw it in the middle of the floor. You'll quickly forget about the smell from the polyurethane.

Ha! This reminds me of what my grandfather used to do to me. I'd complain about hurting my hand and he'd step on my foot and then ask me how my hand feels.

I miss him.

Coming into this topic I thought I was going to have to make a comment about how latex condoms smell better and to just use those....I was wrong.
