Bitter rivalry. The Wolverines vs. the Spartans. Green vs. Blue.
Today's the biggest game day in my area. I live between Ann Arbor and East Lansing. Everywhere I have went today some one asked me "Ready for the big game? Where are you watching it?"
I'll be watching it at home with a bowl of pop corn, a six pack of Bell's Amber beer, and halloween candy.
I bet Rozwado1 is already hammered as he lives in East Lansing and attends MSU.
To us in Michigan, this game is bigger than the Superbowl and World Series combined.

Plus everyone is more equal. About the same experiences and same ages.
Plus there are more local teams.
The only advantages the pros have towards viewership is longevity in individual name recognition.

I'm watching the Wazzu vs USC on ABC now.. man.. what can I say..I don't like USC at all.
They beat the UW for 38-0 last week.. okay.. I don't like UW.. but today's game is even worst.
