the ipod will either have to enable phone features or possibly be taken over by new mp3 cell phones

Its still an interesting idea. Remember, the new world was once a photoshoped image of Christopher Columbus.

that design would suck. personally, I'd want a cell phone that stays in one piece. (how would everyone with a flip phone like it if the screen detached from the keypad?) if the phone detaches to make it smaller if you only want the mp3 player, then, well, it's still stupid. I don't go anywhere without my cell phone, so, I can't see many people deciding before i leave, "well.... i don't think anyone is gonna call me..."

in any case, Apple would probably design a nice phone, but i doubt it'll happen

my Apple phone concept:

Retarded but I am sure it is enough to get most geeks panties in a bunch.

I like MaxPower2k3 idea better anyway.

Neat concept, but the only problem is that you would constantly be cleaning off your facial oil from the screen.
