I wonder if the iPod was still functional....

Dunno what the guy's deal was. Somehow I think I could handle an attack from a crazed iPod wielding woman. In fact, as I sit in front of my computer, I can see a few objects within arms reach that could better an iPod in hand-to-hand combat (that empty bottle of Jack Daniels, for example). Oh hell, if someone attacked me right now, they would probably be eating my CRT (both of them), my wireless keyboard, and my printer (in that order, they're all insured), not to mention the cup of hot steaming coffee I'm drinking right now. My iPods would stay on the desk.

That story gives me some ideas for the 5G iPod:

1. An integrated switchblade
2. mace dispenser
3. integral tazer, which could be controlled using the clickwheel

^Is that Vanilla? This has to be made up. I think it would take a couple days of someone bludgeoning me with on iPod to render me unconscious let alone dead. At least now we have the 60 GB iPod photo which is thicker and heavier, should make killing people with it our using it as a weapon much easier.
It seriously sounds like something the RIAA cooked up. I mean come on, she killed him with his own iPod because she downloaded illegal music? That should stop file swapper, download illegal music get beat to death with iPod! We'll she's the one that downloaded the songs, and he erased them. I wonder after she is charged for manslaughter if the RIAA will go after her to?

Really, you would think the woman could find another use for her iPod! They could add: a good weapon to the iPod specs.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Taking a Counter Culture Class that is basically all about the beat generation.

It's funny that Jack describes the school I attend in detail in one of his books.

I believe it's the Subterraneans.

But Jack's an interesting guy, but his counterparts are as well.

I think 'stabbing' was the wrong word. Imagine 'bludgeoning' instead. You could kill somebody with an iPod-sized rock - it'd be hard, but possible. If the girl got pissed she lost 3000 songs, I wonder how pissed she was when the cops took her iPod as evidence.

As I said in the original post... just shows how screwed up some people are. You put the iPod down before you start beating people!
