I love the ads we have on this site. However this must be the best.

I must admit the ones above for Windows XP media center make me chuckle a bit.

the ads here are by far the worst ads ever in the history of the internet. especially the ones that want me to shoot something to get an ipod. they are very annoying and distracting.

I never knew how many diseases and disorders I had until I started visting this site. Every time I visit I learn of something new that could be wrong with me!

I don't get what's funny about it. No, I don't suffer from any of those afflictions. I just don't see the gag.

Do you think that most MacNN users suffer from this? How many of us use Windows XP? It's called market research and they're not doing a very good job. To me it's funny because you wouldn't expect to see such ads on a site such as this. I'd like to see a few for anal beads or menstrual cramps. That's what this site needs and what I come here for.
This morning I think to self, damn I haven't taken a $hit in a few weeks, must check the MacNN forum, because there's bound to be an ad with something that can help me.
Do you not think those CIALIS ads talking about having a 4 hour erection between your local 6 o'clock news isn't funny?
Maybe you're too uptight and need some more fiber!

Isn't there a way to block Flash ads in OmniWeb?

Oh god no! Now they have one featuring crawling roaches.

Don't know about OmniWeb but on FireFox I have blocked all Flash content unless I click on it. It is pretty handy.

you can block virtually all ads, including flash ads, using a plugin called "Adblock" for firefox.
