1) 4-door sedan or hatchback 2004-2005 model
2) 4-wheel disc brakes
3) 0-60mph in less than 9.5 secs
4) less than 35ft turning radius
5) less than 150 ft stopping distance from 60-0mph
6) Under 20k with all options included.
7) Over 25mpg city driving

I have been looking at several cars, but I was wondering what would people here recommend.

the dodge neon SRT-4 should do quite well for you, just not sure on the gas milage. Check out the saturn Ion Redline, It goes 0-60 in under 6 seconds and has 4 wheel disk brakes. 4 door coupe. Handles very well and with discounts can be had for 15k.

quarter mile is 14.6 stock btw as well.

I drive a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback.

The new 2004 or 2005 fits your needs quite well, with a slight upgrade over my model year.

All for about 16-17k sticker fully loaded, down to 14Kish with rebates and whatnot, especially if you can pick up a 2004 as the 2005s come in.

It's comfortable, great ride, 10yr warranty, etc.

My friend loves his Mazda6. They fall right around 20k though, so maybe check out the 3 instead. I was driving it this weekend and it's a way better ride than my '04 grand am.

I love the new Mazda 3. Solid car, stylish, well-featured. It gets my vote if you wanna get closer to 20k.
