Just wanted to get that off my chest. I'm watching the "Apple Special Event" where he introduced the photo iPod. (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/specialevent04/)

The guy is just an amazing leader and salesman, I love his presentations. Although I dislike corporate excess, I believe he deserves all those millions he is making from Apple- after all, he started the company and he now resurrected it. Watching the guy kind of inspires me.....

Question: Where can I get those Apple playing cards visible in the solitarie game on the iPhoto iPod?

On a side note, I got another person to buy a Mac at my law school today! I had suggested he visit an Apple store before making his decision and came out with an iBook. Take that, IT PC tyrants! Since they told me to stop telling students to get Macs I have redoubled my efforts!

Do you love him in the way a man loves a good beer or the way a man loves another man?

Contrary to popular opinion, some people do care about building good products and pleasing their customers. Whether Steve Jobs is one of these men, I don't know - I've never met him.

He sounds like most CEO's, but you have to love the part when he announced the iPod socks.

I'm really, really disappointed by his decision on video. Photos are nice, but I want to watch video on my iPod. I don't care how small the stupid screen is, I don't want to carry anything but one device on an airplane.

Otherwise, his presentation was great.

that's what an ibook is for. but really it's almost illegal to rip dvds so how the hell? watch nothing but trailers and music videos during a 3.5hr flight from BNA to AUS? there needs to be something like itunes in the video world first. screen nothing, he does have a point about content. you could watch your iMovies or FCP movies but you should be sick of those if you spend too much time editing them.

Steve should run for office. His iPod platform is rock solid, though is opponents say his battery life is far less then what is advertised.

I love Steve Jobs, he has done a lot for Apple. Thank you Steve.

If you remember, the iPod was out long before the music store, and it was still quite successful. So, would we really need to have a video store first? I guess the MPAA would be riding Apple's back pretty hard if they did this.

Perhaps iPod Linux will get ported to the color iPods too. It seems they have a faster processor, so maybe they will be able to get some video out of it.
