Umm... George H.W. Bush will be pretty damn old by 2008, and has no interest in running.
Jeb (not Jed) is his name.
A dictatorship is something that requires a lack of elections and no lawmakers too. The U.S. is neither a monarchy nor a dictatorship.
Get over it folks, the majority of Americans like GWB. If you don't, fine. But it's not the end of the world!

Do we have any plans to join Canada and possibly start a war against Texas? (Us Vermonters aren't big on nukes, but maybe some of you Québequois are)

You don't have to worry about that. The democrats lost.
A democrat was the one who drafted the draft legislation. And 2 democrats were the only people to vote for it.

I think its you that doesn’t understand somethings. First off, if abortion being legal didn't keep you from being born what good is it doing humanity so far. Roe V. Wade will be overturned because it is based on a faulty premise. But it will not be over turned until there is another case that will take its place in terms of upholding the legality of its principles. Second, there's not going to be a draft. But if you want to keep on claiming there will be go ahead. In the end you are the one that will look like a paranoid idiot.
It is this kind of thing that really lost the election for Kerry. All the geniuses spouting these illogical predictions made the moderate voters think you were backing a nut. If you had stuck to core messages about the economy, social security, and the coalition building things would have gone in your favor. But all this doom saying is what gave W. the win.

However, if you make abortion illegal women will still have abortions; but instead of going to a licensed physician in a safe, clean environment, they're going to back-ally clinics that provide illegal drugs and stick a hot poker up their vagina (that is not a joke.)
Yeah, much better.

Two major reasons why John Kerry lost.
1) He's not Bill Clinton. The Dems should of known that to get the white house they would of had to carry a few southern states. John Kerry is about as yankee as it gets. Wearing a Red Sox cap on that extra large head of his didn't help either.
2) Michael Moore. The Dems after Faherenheit 9/11 was a hit thought that by going anti-war they would swing voters on the fence over Iraq to their side. Wrong. Joe and Joan Six Pack may not like the soldiers getting killed but they also remember Jane Fonda. Coupled by the Swift Boat ads it was official: John Hanoi Kerry.
I honestly believe the Dems gave John Kerry to the slaughter for a Hillary run in 08.

I agree on that point partially: the choice must be given. It is none of the governments business if you want to have an abortion. Wrong or right they have no place forcing people one way or the other.
On the other hand I think abortion is horrible. Often the consequences, both emotional and physical, are far worse than anyone is led to believe.

While I have my thoughts, and just about everyone else has their thoughts on issues such as gay marriage and abortion, I don't think the states OR the federal government have ANY rights sticking their heads in other peoples' business. End of story.
Guns are weapons -- that's an entirely different issue. Obviously, there's no way to run a campaign as an anti-gun person because you'll lose all the support in the midwest with states that have 3 electoral votes and are half the freaking size of california or whatever. Geez.

Many people consider that it is a person, thus choosing to kill it is murder. Furthermore that it isn't just her body.

OK... IF life is so SO SO important to fundamentalists (anti abortion crowd), why are they backing up killing of innocent people in Iraq?
What the **** is up with this ****ing irony?
There is no ****ing god! Wake the **** up people... we're ****ing alone in this ****ing world, no superior entity EVER helped us. No superior entity will ever help us.
Why did God allow crusades, stuff like that? WTF is up with him? If he lets stuff like this happens then he's 1)evil or 2)non-existant.
People need to be educated with philosophy and science. Religion is so last millenium.

If you have cancer or a kidney stone, I have no right to tell you what to do with it. If it's in your body you have the right to do with it what ever you want. Until men start having the children they have no f#cking say period. So let's see it's okay to execute people (including those who may be innocent) and drop bombs killing tons of innocent people, but it's not alright for someone to choose what they want to do with their own body.
We already have a ton of unwanted births and children each year.
