OK, now that the election is over and Halo2 is yet to arrive, let's talk about something important: the NBA.

Pistons to repeat? Shaq/Heat vs Kobe/Lakers? My Spurs to rebound from last year's disappointing playoff ouster? The Bobcats? Who do you support and which team do you think is going to hoist the hardware?

Hmm, I think their win-loss record is better than the Bullets/Wiz.

This is a rumor; however, word on the street is that the NBA still hasn't learned how to play defense and make a complete game worth watching. Again, just a rumor.

Lakers! I'm hoping they make it to the playoffs, though that seems like it'll be a very difficult thing for them to do this year.

Shaq vs. Kobe on X-Mas should be a good one. Hopefully both of them are healthy then.

I have tickets to the Pistons game this Saturday at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Really looking forward to it.

On a side note:
This will be the longest the wife and I have been away from our daughter since she was born (not counting work), so it should be interesting. I am predicting my wife will want to leave before the game is over. She is NOT a sports fan.

Apparently you've never watched the Pistons play. All through the playoffs fans complained about how LOW scoring their games were.

Yeah, I was expecting you

Don't worry, Bill Self can't coach the big game. Be prepared for a round 2 exit.

It's okay. Neither could Roy. We're still better off!
