1 is the worst movie of all time but I rather liked much of 2. The clone war at the end was awesome.

Looks pretty sinister which if Lucas can pull off the tone right should easily make this the best of the prequel trilogy. The question is what's the big twist? I've read at the beginning of the film Anakin is still loyal to the Jedi order and friends with Obi-Wan. I suspect the big twist will have something to do with a betrayel. It has to be something pretty big for Anakin when turned to Vader goes on a killing spree. Will we see this killing spree? Or will the reveal of Vader only come in the final moments of the film?

I never saw the second one. I saw one clip of a Jedi walking into a bar and fascistly announcing "Official Jedi business!" and vowed not to see it.
I just watched the fourth DVD in the trilogy boxed set. It's not about Star Wars per se; it's about GL. It's endless "George is wonderful" drivel.

I'm trying not to get too excited, because the original trailer for Episode I looked good too, and we all know how that one turned out.

I guess my expectations weren't as high as some people's. I enjoyed the first two.
I expect to be entertained when I go to the movies.
I was entertained. I enjoyed myself. It was worth my money.
None of the Star Wars movies were works of art. Or had the BEST acting. They were all kinda cheesy.
But when you seen them, you were kids. Kids today see the new movies as being Bad-assed!
So in all comparison, people are being a bit too critical in a series that never was about perfection.

The movie isn't about plots. Its about lasers, and sound effects like zing zing zin, vooot voot, and so on.
In the end the good guys lose. Or pretty much lose resulting in the rebel alliance.

Not Empire. Director Irvin Kershnir got excellent performances from everyone and dare I say an Oscar worthy one out of Frank Oz as Yoda. I watched Empire again recently after not seeing it for years and it is by far the best of the series and is probably one of the greatest films of all time.

Yes. Empire was the exception.
I agree.
Maybe this last one will too. Empire was the bad guys winning, so is this one.

When you were young and your heart was an open book, you used to say "live and let live."
But if this ever changing world, in which we live in, makes you give in and cry, say "live and let die."

I think the very end of the film is Obi Wan handing Luke over to Lars. They filmed that during the Episode II filming so that they wouldn't have to go back to Tunisa just for that one scene.

Ep I was ok, I enjoyed the vast majority of it. Even bought it.
Ep II was so-so. I can see the good parts to it, but really, not that good of a film.
Ep III I hope Lucas comes through with a dark and depressing film. I mean, the subject matter is dark and depressing. Much like Empire was a dark and depressing film, and was darn good. I can only hope......

OK, I've watched the trailer a few times with these comments:
1.) Vader looks stupid with his arms bolted to the table in the "up" position. He looks like he's saying "Cheese" like Wallace in Wallace and Grommit. In addition, the whole "sitting up" or "table tilting up" seems way too cliche.
2.) Not enough "new" scenes. Too many old scenes from previous movies.
3.) I await an explanation for why Annakin's eyes would change color.
4.) The space battles look amazing. Hopefully, they are not woefully short.
5.) The editing of the music at the end was horrible. A 5 year-old could have mixed a better ending.
I eagerly await this movie. It is the last one. It better be good. I await four more trailers like they did for AOTC.

Some time back, he said that this would be by far the most dark and depressing movie in the whole series. Frankly, I have my doubts about his ability to pull that off, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt one last time.

1. It is a teaser trailer, to tease you... there are not supposed to be all that much from the movie.
2. AN explanation will come, it is supposed to TEASE you.
2. You await (3x) so much, I feel sorry for you. You need to find things to enjoy in life that exist now.

I presume for the same reason that the Emperor's are yellow: the dark side corrupts the body, too.

empire was gr8 but the endless scene with luke training with yoda was a little much . i personally wasn't astounded with ep. 1 and 2 but i enjoyed both. i though attack of the clones was gr8. ep. 1 was a little much but darth maul(was that his name?) was kool. i think 3 will be good, but i'm afraid it will have so much prerelease buzz that it will fall short, sort of like matrix revolutions.

when there is immense hype, things can fall short. What kind of hype is there for this, probably less then episode 1. The music, the "duel of fates" is a quite 'dope' (as the children say) song. It was really good. I thought that episode 2, just did not have anything going for it at some points... like the final battle, just was disconnected.
What the **** does "gr8" mean? It is like the things they put over storm drains to keep people from falling into them?

that white ship interior appears to be the Tantive IV, which was the ship they were on in the very first scene of 'Star Wars'!
