WHAT THE ****?!
WTF.. WTFFFFFF simply... WTF?!
How can someone possibly do that? What a sick sad world!

Someone tell me it's very realistic SFX...

This is by FAR the grossest thing I've seen on the net.. TERRIBLE.

No, I've not seen it, but if someone would provide a link I think I would then tell you if it was FX or just a very sick person.

You sure that was real? I'm not sure it was. It was nasty, though, yeah. The different camera shots and angles give me the impression it's just some Japanese gore flick.

Anyway, the internet goes on.

There is a full length movie called Naked Blood I believe that has many scenes similar to the one you describe. I didn't watch it all as I had only downloaded it for a friend that wanted a horror movie, but when I opened it I saw a woman cut off a part of her nipple and eat it. If its from the same movie it much have been before the whole eye thing as she had good aim at the time.

Maybe she had already lost it in some accident, and she ate a fake one? Was there lots of blood?

It's really sad that the only stuff that makes it to the rest of the world from Japan is either retarded-ass Dragonball Z-type stuff, or the horribly violent, disgusting crap like this. Japan may be weird in a lot of ways, when seen through the eyes of westerners, but it is not that weird.

So you post a thread proclaiming that you've found the most horrible thing on the whole internet, and you won't share a link?

Pfft.

As SSharon indicates, the scene in question is from Megyaku: Akuma no yorokobi [imdb.com], aka "Naked Blood."

I haven't seen the clip, but the review of the film told me all I need to know.

I'm in Japan too, I've studied Japanese for over 8 years, and no, it's really not as weird as people cutting up their eyeballs.

True, but how about the fact that the most common cosmetic surgery is eyelid surgery. To give girls a fold in their eyelids. I kept seeing girls with eyepatches on, but for some reason did not make the oh so obvious connection.

But it is still weird man.

Call me jaded, but I think there are plenty of things Americans do that are just as weird.

Pic, better pics.

For some reason, Japanese people (who all have hitoe, "1-layer" eyelids) think that futae, or "2-layer" eyelids are much more attractive. This is part of the Western Adoration Complex (I just made that term up) that explains why anime characters almost always look caucasian, why everyone's preoccupied with learning English (even people with no actual use for it), and why just about anything American is popular no matter how crappy it actually is.

Japan is a world of its own in some respects, although not really in the violent respect of self-eyeball-gouging.
