Maybe you have to be English to 'get it'.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Or maybe being born in 'The Wolverine
State' has something to do with it.

Royalty. I think it's strange how people have an obsession with them. Seriously, what's the draw?

How many American's watch MTV's "Cribs" or something of that nature with our celebrities? Same thing maybe? Just a guess. Does British Royalty=American Celebs?

You've got a point there.

On a side note: I think "cribs" is for the mouth breather. What entertainment is there in seeing how a "celebrity" wastes their money? I wish I had the free time to switch off my brain and waste an hour, or whatever, and watch a show like cribs. Actually, no I don't. About the only chance I see my self watching cribs is if I am in the hospital with my eyelids propped open and a TV inches from my face set on MTV. Even then, I might try to look away.

That must be why the queen has a giant Jacuzzi in the middle of the state room which she lounges in while prince Philip gives her a Hawaiian lava back-rub while watching MTV on a 92" plasma display all the time sipping mountain Dew from a champagne glass and burping in time with Busta Rhymes

Now that's class.
