Haha that is so funny.... last friday, I went to the Gravis Store in Munich. Just some background information: Since there are no Apple stores in Europe (except for London), Apple has its distributors and resellers here, one of them being Gravis. Gravis is also the only one that has stores, the others only sell online (e.g. CyberPort or Cancom).

Anyhow, the Gravis store in Munich used to be located near the main station but they moved to the Glockenbachviertel few months ago. The Glockenbachviertel in Munich used to be a really queer neighborhood in the 60s, 70s and 80s but that changed in the 90s when people started to realize that gays are NOT evil and one can easily live with them as neighbors. The Glockenbachviertel is not only one of the oldest neighborhoods in Munich (dating back to 1200) but also right downtown and really really nice. It is in very many ways like New York SoHo but also a bit like Montmartre in Paris.
I went to that store last friday to get a Tucano SecondSkin for my iBook. I haven't been to the new Gravis store before, just the old one where all I met where Apple geeks. But not this time - I saw at least three gorgeous women when I entered plus some more that entered while I was talking to the techie. I was like WTF happened here, is this still the Gravis store?
