I'm not buying, but I'm just wondering if you also think this eB@y item is a scam. My Spidey senses are tingling.

Nope. Just an auction.

I'm a bird. I am the 1% (of pets).

Well, what did make me wonder is the fact there is no personal picture. The picture was some downloaded generic picture.

BTW, is BidPay good? I have no idea.

I've used generic pictures before. Does that mean I'm a scammer?

If you don't have a digital camera (and some people still dont) then you find one from the product site.

It doesn't mean you are going to scam someone.

The tell tale scams usually include private auctions, a dual 2Gig G5 for $1 and people who offer to pay for stuff through western union and make fake emails telling you the money is sent, and so to ship the item.

Sort out those spidey senses of yours!

Of course using a generic picture doesn't automatically mean it's a scam, but it does seem that scams are much more likely to use them. Anyways, that's why I was asking.

Yeah, but that's easy. Just don't send it until you get the money.

BidPay is Western Union for Ebay...
Does it have the same implications as Western Union not for eBay?
