What is it about Trading Currency online that makes it so special? I trade stocks all the time and have no problems using the various online web sites. But for some reason, all the Currency The currency trading web sites require you to install software on your computer to trade, and all the software is windows only. What is the deal? Why would you need to install software just to trade? Makes no sense to me at all. Does anyone trade currency and know of any web sites that trade all through the web (like ameritrade does) so you can use it on Mac, or anything else?

You're talking about simply converting one form of money into another? Like Dollars to Euros?

Then go to http://www.xe.com/ucc/, they don't require you to install anything.

No, he's talking about trading currencies.

If all he wanted to do is convert currencies, or look up the exchange rate, he doesn't need any third party software, or even to go to any website.

The OS X Calculator has all that built in.

Currency trading seems a lot more difficult now, especially because so many currencies have been converted into Euros. Also, if you're starting out with US dollars, you have to be quite lucky to earn anything

You obviously don't know much about stocks/currencies, because there is money to be made, regardless if something is going up or down.

Oh... right... Somehow 'trading' and 'converting' seem to have had melted into one in my head last night. I blame the over-tiredness...
