"Cure For Asthma

You want your kid to lose his asthma? Stop two things for 60 days: dairy and sugar. That's all. Just try it. Both are major allergens. As we have seen, sugar inhibits digestion by destroying enzymes. Undigested sugar just stays there in the tract and in the blood, and then goes throughout the body, lodging anywhere it can, including the bronchioles of the lungs. And what's the body's response to any lung allergen? Mucus. Narrows the air passages, and the body goes into distress because it thinks it's going to suffocate."

Mucus is not the reason for asthma, it is swelling not a constant mucus.

If I cut out sugar, I would be depressed.

I like sugar.

And beer.

Have I mentioned that before?

is this real (as in peer-reviewed, reproduced and accepted) research, or is this yet another random asshat passing off correlational studies as definitive proof without good science to back up their assertions?

also, the aspertame data is ONLY valid when the amounts consumed exceed the "normal" human conumption of it by a factor of 10x or more...

Took a look at the references... mostly peoples books, not research... seems to be mostly FUD rather than real, verified research as it would like to be taken to be.

-

So, in summation - don't eat a TON of sugar (of any type) or a TON of aspertame and you should be fine, but if you're drinking 10L of diet coke a day, cut back!

I'm actually pretty sure that all of my medical problems are caused not by sugar but by an insufficient quantity of Brazilian supermodels in close proximity to said self.

Now wouldn't it be good if you could get the cure to your medical problems off the NHS?

What about that Splenda mess? Is it sugar? Is it not sugar. I've eaten sugar my whole life and never had any of those problems, well not most of them. Asthma is inherited I thought cause my mom has it.
