Does anybody know what the digital booklet is (I assume it's a PDF file) and how to get it? I just downloaded the new U2 album ("How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb") from the iTunes Music Store, but don't see where this digital booklet is?
Any ideas?

It's only with the Complete U2 Digital Box Set, for $149 (without U2 iPod coupon).

Considering that The Complete U2 is well over 1GB in a download from Apple, and that before sharing, somebody has to de-DRM the Mp4's... I doubt it's on file sharing yet this morning. It's only been available a few hours.
Besides: I'm gonna buy it. It's worth at least that much to me to fill in all the missing spots I never got on record, tape or CD. But, admittedly, I have no care for the remixes, at all.

hmmm, then why does the small ad at the top of the ITMS Home page say "U2// HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB -- Exclusive Album with Digital Booklet"?

The ad is just a button for a link to the U2 page, with both the new album and the unique boxed set (Exclusive Album). Besides, nowhere else on iTMS does it say anything about a PDF with How To Dismantle, and it repeats many times that you get the unique PDF with the Complete U2.

incorrecto! HTDAAB supposedly has it's own book, and if you click that link on iTMS, it takes you to the album page, not the page for the collection. However, I don't know where the book is stored on our machines.....

I don't buy that since that ad alternates with a seperate ad for the box set, which says "Exclusive Box Set with Digital Booklet"

"Supposedly" doesn't cut it. It doesn't say that you get a PDF with the album download, and it doesn't even mention it on the album page, not with the Buy Album button, or anywhere else. If it doesn't say it explicitly something like "with this download you will receive a PDF..." then you aren't getting one.

I got the album and the PDF was just added to my library. It is stored with the rest of the songs in your music folder. Hope that helps.

Aside from that specific booklets location, I think idea of having a booklet included with online albums looks good for the future. A lot of people I know say why wouldn't you want the physical cd with the booklets and everything. I think a lot more people will buy songs online if all the albums sold with the actual booklets that come with them. Also, even if it doesn't make more people switch to online music store's, it would still be really cool to have booklets with the albums!

What's the name of the PDF file? I dl'd the album, but don't see a PDF file anywhere in the music folder....
(nor do I see in in my artwork, as Mac Write suggests - surely you're pulling my leg dude)

I think it is HTDAAB.pdf or something like that. Sorry I can't be more specific but I am not at my normal computer now.

look at your purchasd music folder, they even put the pdf file there. And the actual file is located in the album folder.

Ah, well if it's supposed to be listed in iTunes in the purchased music playlist along with the other 11 tracks from the album, and if it's supposed to be located in the album folder with the other 11 m4p files, then I definitely didn't get it.
I've since written to the ITMS, and my report has been escalated to iTunes Music Store engineering....
Anyone else having this issue?

Your helpful elf did not say it was supposed to be visible from the iTunes playlists, he said the album folder in your iTunes library folder on your HD.
