Looks like a nice place. However, having a lighthouse in the middle of the Great Plains would probably get me branded as a 'retard', so I'll pass......

If you want one on the water, I noticed this one had a for sale sign on it when I drove by it a couple of weeks ago. Come with two other buildings and a small marina. I haven't found out the price yet. I actually meant to call the realtor and find out, but I never got around to it.

That is a very nice looking lighthouse. Definitely a weird place to build one.

I can tell all those ships will have a hard time coming to port... because of... of... the fog? in... Oklahoma?

I think the rough seas will give them more trouble

On a related note, the furthest inland port in the United States is the Port of Catoosa near Tulsa.

That lighthouse isn't anywhere near that port.

I don't know if that last comment was a jab at Oklahoma. But I do want to say that I live in Oklahoma City and have traveled all over the state. Oklahoma is blessed with more natural beauty than most people realize. According to the EPA, Oklahoma is one of only four states with 10 or more designated eco-regions. Get off the interstates and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the terrain. I don't work for the state of Oklahoma Tourism department. I just like living where I live.
