Shipping carriers do some crazy stuff.

I've had packages shipped from Pittsburgh (I live in Cleveland, about 150 miles away) go to California before coming here.

Just wait for it to show up; you'll go crazy with those tracking numbers. Trust me, I know.

FedEx has f*cked up a clutch I ordered three weeks ago! It came as close as PA and was then shipped back to TN. Not once, not twice, but three times now. Nobody from Autozone seems to know or care for that matter what's going on. FedEx customer service has been even worse. What a bunch of clowns. I've been told the item was damaged or something happened to the label. Yeah 3 times? Since my car has been sitting in pieces for the past 2 weeks awaiting the arrival of the clutch. It's not like it's the Holidays or anything and I need to have my car. FedEx has all my future business from now on, I'm using DHL.

This is an odd place to ask such a question.

Did you think that a FedEx representative might be hanging out on these forums, waiting for just this moment to chime in with their expertise?

FedEx doesn't know **** man. I think we would be better off if they outsourced all their jobs to India.

Hello, and thanks for your enquiry.

I am the FedEx representative responsible for monitoring these MacNN forums.

Unfortunately, you did not provide me with your tracking number, so I have no way of determining the package's exact location. Please call us at 1.800.Go.FedEx (800.463.3339) and choose option #0 to speak with a representative.

Thank you for using FedEx.

If you use a FedEx box, it wil cost $48.02.

Saturday deliveries are always charged a premium. By way of comparison, if it were a weekday, delivery by 10:30 am would cost $37.27. For next-day delivery by 3:00 pm, it would cost $33.11.

If you were to go with FedEx 2Day, the cost would drop to $15.96.

This is highly entertaining. So if I wanted to mail a Zebra by way of Senegal to Southern France in a 8'x10'x12' box with a section carved out so he could poop, how much would it cost?

Given the animal has 2 weeks of food. So he theoretically could go 2.5 before he died. Please get back to me ASAP...I need to get this stolen zebra fenced and gone.

The government/fedex/shipping gestapo is watching our every action, conspiracy theory?

I'm glad you liked my warm-up. It's always important for comedians to try out new material in odd places before working it into routines.

FYI: I'll be performing at the grand opening of the MacNN Comedy Lounge on Friday, Dec. 10th at 8:00 pm EST. Tickets are $5 for .Mac members, and free for everyone else.

SafariX - chop up the zebra and shove him into a 3x3x3' box to save on shipping. Then you won't have to worry about poop.

Hello, and I apologize for the delay. I am also the FedEx representative for a few Amazon.com-related forums, and this holiday weekend has been extremely busy.

With regards to your needing to ship a Zebra, we cannot ship livestock, However, there are a few companies out there who will ship livestock internationally. The company I'd recommend for your particular situation would be Crispin Bennett International Horse Transport.

Their reputation is solid, and they take care of everything, including:

• all stringent government and statutory body requirements;
• all pre-export/import quarantine requirements;
• all veterinary work including blood testing and vaccinations ;
• road transport;
• transfers of registration if required;
• government veterinary inspections;
• freight and clearance; and
• transit/mortality insurance at competitive rates as required.

Check them out, and the FedEx family wishes you the best.

Oh yeah, I wanted to thank you for those. They sound great... practically no distortion at high gain levels.

I'll be sure to get them back on the truck following my party on Sunday night.

Thanks for using FedEx.
