ok, so it 125 dollars at Wal-Mart. If you went to Walmart and bought a 125 gift card wouldn't you be charged sales tax? That guy lives in MI which has a 6 percent rate. that comes out to 125 + (125*.06) = 132.5. You wouldn't he still be saving money even thought we went a couple dollars over the 125 considering thats its free shipping? Or Am i missing something?

You do not pay sales tax on a gift card. Tax will be charged on the products purchased.
