I don't think they "suck", they are talented. But annoying--yes indeed! Especially since they promote Intel chips.

They are the McDonalds of "art". That has nothing to do with talent. At least if you're talking about something else than talent in marketing.

Yup, they're spokesthings for Intel, but they use Macs to run their shows. So they suck, they're two-faced, and blue-faced, all at the same time!

I got to see one of their shows for free in Boston a few years back. The trick: call ahead and ask to be an usher. At that location they give away maybe 10-12 seats a show to volunteer ushers. You have to get there 30 minutes ahead of time to seat people and stay 30 minutes late to clean up, but for an $80 show, it was worth it.
All that being said, I enjoyed it. I wouldn't have paid the $80 for it, but it was definitely worth the time.

I saw them in Vegas, I thought their show was pretty good.

I don't care for their records, but the show (saw it in Berlin) was hella fun.

I saw their show in Chicago two years ago and loved it. Not a fan of their CD, but their show is very entertaining.
And for those of you who say they aren't talented, you try catching / squishing as many marshmallows in your mouth as they do. They've got talent!

They're entertaining. As to their musical skills, I guess, to each their own.

So you are all fine with the "art" franchising concept?
To say they are talented is the same like saying a McDonalds cook is a good chef though all he does is follow corporate instructions to the letter.

Centrino isn't a bad chip. It's actually a very good chip that is better than the G4 and I commend Intel on coming up with it.
Anyway, I guess I can't fault them with corporate promotions... some artists may consider it selling out, others may say it's the ultimate way to promote your art. It's really up to them. As far as my own opinion of what they do... well, I can't say I've really seen them much so I can't judge there. They look kinda neet but I dunno.
