Okay, I'm looking to sell my 23" display that I purchased with my G5, and have 2 years of Applecare left on. My question: can the Applecare coverage on the display be transfered, or does the transferal of Applecare only work if the whole unit (PowerMac and Display) stays together?

I've searched through Apple's website and found no information on this, and would like to know before I put this puppy up in the marketplace. I know I can call applecare and stay on hold for the next half hour, but I thought I'd try here first. Any experiences?

The Apple Care protection plan must be purchased with a tower and display together in order to cover the display, however once that display has been covered it can be service separately from the tower.

If you split up the pair and sell them to two different people, both would still benefit from Apple care coverage since the warranty tracks with the device not the customer.
