Why is it that when I visit Amazon UK, and go to my Account preferences, the page tries to connect to FEMA, the US Dept. of Homeland security? This is what I've managed to capure from them attemptng to connect to me, or me to their servers. Seems a bit odd.

If you know someone locally who uses the same ISP as you, talk to them about this.
Otherwise, call your ISP and see what is up.

IIRC, FEMA isn't Homeland Security, it's the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the ones who give out grants for disaster relief.

They must have heard about the storms we had here Yeah, I went to their site and just saw that big Homeland security badge, but on closer inspection it seems they are pretty benign.
Cheers.
