All the people who hated him from the Screen SAvers may have gained some respect with him since he has just purchased a G5. I never hated him but hey maybe you find it interesting, although probably not.

Correct. They fired Yoshi, Dan, Alex and a few others. I think Martin Sargeant was in there aswell. Kevin also stepped down from main screensavers host and now they have some Asian moron and another Kvein. Kind of sucks now.

On a side note, TechTV sucks now. I can't stand it; it's all about gaming.

You know why this channel still exist, because pc users stil exist, all the good shows such as call for help and the screen savers have been absolutely erased and replaced with no brain f*cktards from g4. This isn't g4techtv it's just g4 and i think everyone knows it, i don't want to watch a f*cking show about "players" who the f*ck dedicates 30 minutes of airtime to interviewing famous people about what video games they play.. three letters.... WTF

So, if I'm reading this correctly, the reason he bought the Mac was that he had 300 GB of data on a Mac-formatted disk and he couldn't read it? Wouldn't it have been cheaper to get another FireWire hard drive, format it in FAT, and use his friend's Mac to transfer the files from one FW drive to the other?

It's all just an excuse, I tell ya...

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

I know you're joking, but this really sucks. Comcast convinced all of those people (as well as those behind the scenes) to move down to Los Angeles for the new show. Yeah, I know it's business, but it's horrible to uproot your life only to be fired less than three months later (not to mention during the holiday season). They all seem like really nice people; I wish them luck.

That's what I thought. It's an excuse or he's just plain stupid.

People still watch TechTV?

The last time I heard about it anywhere was when the G4 and TechTV thing joined together.

G4…sucks…the…biggest…balls…ever.
The shows were awful, and the hosts knew about games as much as I know about anal flame retardants. Wait a second…
Anyway, all the shows sucked, so it's pretty obvious that any network that joins them is going to go down the toilet.

wow. i thought the new guys were bad. this is even worse.

poor techtv.. tss was the best show evar. call for help was actually helpful. fresh gear actually had some nerds that understood what they were talking about. techtv news used to have that pretty girl as the host.

RIP TechTV.

Yes, and the bus speed is pretty slow also.

There wouldn't be a Mac show cuz there wouldn't be anything to troubleshoot.

"Caller, you're on the air."
"Hi, I can't figure out... oh, nevermind. I have a PHD in physics, I just figured it out."

"Ok, next caller."
"Hey, I have a quick question. Can I stuff $1 million inside the case and use it like a safe? It has a lock."
"..."
"I think I answered my own question. Thanks!"

"Right, next caller has a question about troubleshooting."
"I want to hook up an extra monitor. My friend said I have to download drivers for it."
"Plug in the other monitor."
"Hey, it worked!"
"Next caller..."

The only show that I'll watch now is Robot Wars.
