I miss the days when Ska was breaking out, when swing came back, and when not every band getting radio play was about sex or how bloody depressed they wall were. The other day I was surfing around and I found this guy on iTunes... I think I found the first album I'm gona buy off the iTMS.

I'm actually finding all kinds of like late 90s stuff that I wanna buy from like my early high school days... dang music used to be better.

Most ska from the 90's is whack in comparison to the ska back in ancient New Wave times. For newer ska I highly recommend Hepcat.

I somehow missed out on the Happy Rock genre name.

Are you talking about the oh so positive Smashmouth-Hey-Now-You're-A-Rockstar kinda stuff?

And please, for poor Don Drummond's sake, stop dragging the name Ska through the mud.

They Might Be Giants! About as go-happy as you can get.
