Anyone Else Noticing MacNN getting really slow when you post?

Like if I reply or go to post a new topic, if I leave it for a bit it'll just absolutely bog in Safari. I've got the most updated version of OS X since last week end. Anyone else experiencing this problem with Safari?

It has to do with the smileys and how safari renders them. I stopped using safari on the boards and switched to Mozilla that could actually handle them.

i turned off all the .gif preview smileys when i post. that helped A LOT.
