Thanks, I am already hungry - now it's getting terrible!!
And if you ever visit Munich, I can only recommend the "Steinheil" (a small pub close to the TU). They used to have Schnitzels like those there and I once had one and a half plus a large Apfelstrudel with two scoops of vanilla ice and 6 large beers!
Man, that felt bad!!!

mmm, I made smaller ones last night for my g/f. She hadn't ever eaten German food before.
Try putting a slice of ham and provolone on top of each, then pour Hollandaise sauce over it all and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
yum yum
Serve with red cabbage and apples.
Take the time to make your significant other a good meal and he/she will take care of dessert.

I'll be visiting Munich next week, but I thought about getting a Schweinshaxn. Seems more authentic for Munich to me.
iLikebeer, it isn't really German food if you put Sauce Hollandaise on it. I think you made some kind of Cordon Bleu.

TETENAL, I'm trying to translate your sig:
"Zwei Buben stiegen auf 'nen Turm. Der eine hat 'nen Bandenwurm.
Der and're ließ sich munter an jenem wieder dann herunter."
I come out with:
"Two boys climbed a tower. One had a tapeworm.
The other quickly used it to climb back down."
Is that close?

Yeah, pretty much.
I still can't make sense of it, even though I understand the original as well
