For all of you that were waiting for Knights of the Old Republic 2, go ahead and buy it.

I'm about 10 hours into it, and I have to say I am really impressed. They kept everything that made the original great and improved all the little things that always bugged me about the first one.

You can have 2 sets of weapons (like 1 set of melee and 1 of blasters) ready to go and change between them in the action menu. There are more feats and skills that are actually worthwhile.

The quests are actually interweaved instead of running around doing 1 after the other. It feels like there is a lot more continuity to it. Seems as though it will have really good replay value with many different branches.

Bungie should have this company help make Halo 3 as good as Halo 2 should have been and could have been.

I give it:

I bought it. I've been knee-deep in Everquest 2 so I haven't been able to fire it up yet. I'm glad to see that it's very good.

One thing disappointing in KOTOR 1, I expected that choosing a light or dark side would lead down totally different paths in the game. When I fell to the dark side I expected to align with the Sith and fight against the jedi and the republic. That didn't happen.

Any changes on this front?

Same but with WoW. Heh, funny how that works with mmorpgs. Maybe if I could play KOTOR 2 from within WoW somehow and earn experience that way.... hmm

I was about 2-3 hours into the first one and I had to stop playing it because I hated it.

It doesn't seem available for the Mac yet.

Does anybody know when it will be released for the Mac?
