One of my sectionmates is in the bathroom right now, singing while showering. I don't think I've ever done this without music playing. So I'm wondering how common this is. Do you do it? And if so, why?

I voted no because I rarely play music while showering. I have done it only a few times in my life and can't really remember if I sang or not.

No, because most of the music I listen to isn't so much about lyrics…more about the riff. But that's more of a hum than singing. I don't do either in the shower. I'm in and out in 5 (long showers are pointless).

Besides, anyone who catches you will laugh their ass off so hard that…well. Lemme put it this way: I'd laugh if I heard every William Hung singing. You look stupid everytime you do it.

I'd rather start humming a riff out of nowhere than sing. I can't sing worth a ****.

I've never sung in the shower, ever.

I do sing in the car quite a bit, though.

My shower has excellent acoustic qualities, and I occasionally belt out a tune or two. But not everyday.

My sectionmate too. That didn't stop him.

He's the smelly one. I should just be glad he showers at all. His room is vile! (I mentioned him in the BO thread a while back.)

Sing? No. Talk? Yes.

Singing is for the car.

I look forward with the deepest hope for the day when we will all be able to shower while driving out automobiles!

Not in the shower, but in the car. And also with my 8-women a capella group.

I would never inflict that sort of pain on my neighbors, or my dog. Remember dogs can hear things humans cannot.

No, I don't sing. Just have tunes running through my head occasionally.

Actually, all showers have good acoustics. That's why you sound so good in the shower: your own voice is being bounced back into your ears and you sound "in tune" with yourself.

Gets kinda crowded with three people though.

Don't sing. Well, sang once. Someone asked what I was doing and I said killing time. They said I had the perfect weapon for it.

"Love In Stereo" by The Monks.

Why am I in love in stereo
with a girl on either side
you might well look on and envy me
but this feelin' isn't so hi-fi

Just a boy in love in stereo
when we dance it's not much fun
I can't choose 'cause they're identical
and I can't move without the other one

One wants to stay at home the other wants the night out
One wants to read in bed the other wants the light out
I really don't know what to do 'cause I'm in love with you...
and you...and you

Word. I'm the Fifth Beatle, the Unknown Member of Journey, a last minute replacement for John Fogarty.

And heck I'd pay to see an eight woman a cappela group in the shower...

I love singing in the shower! Everyday.

And, if I am in the mood, I also like to practice all my odd voices.. especially the evil ones.
