It's great for consumers, but for general edification I'm wondering how Amazon gets around Apple's Minimum Advertised Pricing restrictions in order to sell the iPod at a substantial discount in comparison to everyone else. And beyond that, I'm wondering if I should buy my third iPod from Amazon (although they are out of stock right now). Your thoughts?

Didn't Apple collaborate with them for the Amazon iPod Store? I'm sure they've signed some sorts of agreements.

MAP is min. advertised price.... as long as they don't advertise a price lower than the MAP they can price it for whateve they want. (any other retailer can sell it for whatever price they want in store as well.)
