you should look around where you live for a good custom tattoo artist. Check out TattooNow.com, they have amazing artists all over the country.

Smear ink on his face, press the face on your arm and have the artist needle it in for you.

You haven't even met your kid yet. What if he turns out to be a complete jerk? Then you'll feel stupid.

I'd tattoo the child. Much more amusing and less painful.

How about "rediculous" (sic) on your forehead?
Seriously, tho', maybe his zodiac sign (Taurus?) and birthdate?

that's what i thought too.
how bout this. wait a few days, until you can find something he's totally attached to (besides parents) ... something like a particular image/toy .. and have that tattoo'ed. the face on the arm isnt a bad thing either .. but might be creepy / deform over time.
as always, remember to post a pic!

No disrespect but if I was your kid I would find this kind of creepy, especially when I'd reach adolescence. Part of parenting is letting go of your kids and them letting go of you.
Maybe you could have a tattoo of your wife's name or something to celebrate the birth?

I would say invest the time you would spend getting the tattoo with your child...
and invest the money in a bank account for college (or a down payment on a house if they choose not to go).

Personally I would never get a tattoo. Best just to let the child know that you love them every day.

well, you could just tattoo his birthday and time - and perhaps do it as an barcode (yeah, I know... Geekish)?
