200 pounds sterling? That is at least 350 dollars for a 512MB player. Pricey.

i like the stlying, it's sleek. we gotta stop hating on all non apple products. in fairness, i like the looks. not sure how you can read the small text, or how the controls are assigned but based on style alone, i like it.
that being said, the price is insane for what it provides.
there .. fair and balanced.

It's not all bad but the display looks horrible. Don't see it doing much to the ipod sales though.

When are they going to learn, I ain't buying it unless it has a slot for SD Memory or some other memory slot. I want to be able to expand it without throwing it away.
The heck with it. I finally got a 1gb mmc for my Nokia 6230. 160 songs is more than enough for me, but if I need to, I can always get another 1gb mmc and swap it.

It's designed to resemble a small piece of black plastic. Why would anyone pay more for that than a mini? I'm perplexed.
I now officially hate "iPod Killar" worse than I hate "Red State/Blue State". The notion of a device coming along that stops iPod sales cold right now is patently absurd. Apple is on track to move 4 million this quarter.

A cool idea, but the screen seems too low-resolution. C+ overall

The iPod is like Godzilla. Sure, other monsters may appear cooler at first, until Godzilla kicks their butts. No matter what happens, he's still the #1 monster.

I should also add that each time he may seem defeated, he comes back cooler then ever before.
Now imagine a giant iPod destroying Tokyo.

Competitors need to realize that they are the ones playing catch up... at the most they can charge what the iPod charges, and it should be 20% less. How do they think they can increase sales while selling an inferior player for more than the dominant player?
