We're having the grand opening this Saturday at 8am. I hope all of you in the St. Louis area make it out for the store launch!

The store is located on the 2nd floor of the mall close to the Dillard's and right across from the Disney Store. Should be a good time.

Is that this weekend? Crap! I really wanted to head out there for that, but I gotta work. Are they having any good deals or giveaways?

I wish I really lived in St. Louis.

Either way, there is an Apple Store less than five minutes away from where I live.

Just the usual free t-shirts for the first 500. if you can't make it to the launch just stop by during the week. I'll be there everyday except for Wednesday.

what's your job there?
I kinda half-jokingly applied for a position at the upcoming Toronto store. Depends on my other options and the pay, but I was thinking the discount would be great.

Just the usual sales position. I was taking some classes because I couldn't find a job after graduation (the economy needs to "work harder") so I couldn't apply for the Genius job since it requires almost 3 weeks of training and that would have conflicted with the classes I was taking.

Hopefully I will get a Genius job when one opens up.

I actually thought of applying for transfer to the Toronto store because I'm a Canadian citizen and it would have been cool to go back to Toronto on a more permanent basis, but our store is just opening so now is not the time. I'm sure there will be more opportunities later.

Genius would be nice. I hear they can make US $50K a year full time.
