Just took delivery of my new 20" iMac G5... and what else can I say than: "Whoah!"
I had only seen the 17 inchers in person, but decided I wanted to go for the 20 inch one myself, and boy am I glad I did!
This has to be the most beautiful computer I have ever seen... I have to sit back to take the whole screen in at once! Makes me think what I would do faced by a 30" Cinema Display!
Pretty damn happy with my purchase so far!

We had one set up in the store a couple weeks ago, and um...well...
...just don't think about it.
I'm not.
Really.

I saw a 30" a coupla months ago at an Apple store. Some jerkoff stayed on it the ENTIRE time I was there, so I didn't get a good close-up view of it. Fortunately, it was so large I could see it sticking out on either side of the guy Unbelievable.
Congrats on your 20" (iMac) iCol. I'd love to be in your shoes right now.

The scary thing is a 30" unit would eat the entirity of my desk here in the dorm.

I think I would lose icons on it. I mean, it is going to take half an hour to move the cursor from one side of the screen to the other!

The 30" is SO big, it's almost difficult to use as everything is so small and I found me having to move my neck a bunch. I had a ton of windows open and never needed to minimize... crazy awesome!

Sitting in front of a 30" cinema display is much like going to a movie theater and sitting in the front row.

Congratulations on your purchase of a new 20" iMac. I think that you are ahead for many hours of enjoyment.
