Ok, I'm stumped what to get my g.f for Christmas. Most everything falls into 3 categories (she has it/she doesn't want it/she wouldn't use it).

She's good to go on jewelry. She has a iPod Mini. I've thought about an iBook 12 but she rarely uses my PB now. She doesn't want to switch phones because she's comfortable with her 6600. She has more clothes than God.

Basically, I'm stuck. So what are people getting for their g/f and/or wife this Christmas?

Get her some bling bling. Trust me, something from www.tiffany.com will make her drop.

Show her the true low life you are, get her a Tube top or holter top and skirt. Nothing says your mind is in the gutter than cheap trashy clothing.

Her b-day was in November and I got a nice bracelet that rated strong the bling factor, so was hoping to not repeat myself too soon in that avenue.

A short skirt.

It's a gift you'll both appreciate.

Genius tip; Why don't you ask her what she would like? i'm sure there is something. Maybe there are a lot of smaller things she wants.

Notice how the only helpful question on shopping came from a gay guy and the rest of the answers is exactly why most of you don't get laid

I got her a PodSleeve for the Mini before we went to Perth earlier this month. Thought about clothes or shopping spree but as I said, she has plenty of clothes and then some.
And we have a stack of DVDs that we haven't gone through.

You're in Australia? How about tickets to a concert that's coming up that she might be interested in? That could be an awesome present. And even if you buy a small thing, you can just write a special letter to go with it. Don't forget tho, that letter has to make her cry (in happiness).

I am getting this girl I am seeing a robe.
Not like a grandma flannel kind but a nice above the thigh VS one.
And inside the pocket will be the reservation slip for a weekend up at this spa in Kohler, WI. So just find some decent place to take her for a weekend and she’ll think it’s a great gift but the reality is that it will just be all the sex you can fit into a 3 day period. Think of it as a present for yourself. Gifts that are events or things for you to do together always go over well with chicks and always lead to sexual favors.

Pff, mine looks thoughtful, is conducive of a more “intimate” relationship, and is memorable. And when you look deeper is quite self serving.
Tiffany’s for a relationship that has gone on as long as the author seems to imply his has is lame. It looks like you couldn’t think of anything better and once you’ve been with a girl that long there only one piece of jewelry she wants, and I don’ think Randman wants to go that route. Save Tiffany for the first valentines day you spend with a girl or for your 10 year wedding anniversary.
Don't listen to gay men, they have no clue how to put women in compromising situations and have them enjoy it.

I thought the iPod was ...

that being said .. Captain O .. lol .. devious... and I bet he typed it with a straight face too!

Part of my gift is her favorite perfume (Romance) .. what she wore on our first date .. lol .. she was dressed to the nines and my dumbass thought we were just watching a movie as friends.. i was dressed in jeans n a shirt .. like a moron .. going .. wow .. you're dressed nice .. LOL what a moron.

Anyways .. yeah .. that's to show her I remember I guess. Then comes a Korean plush animal thingy from some Korean Cartoon I think... It's an asian thing I guess... I dunno if Caucasians give such things as this. Its a Mashimaro, and in his right hand is a bag (stuffed with cotton - which is going to be removed and replaced with the perfume and a box of godiva chocolates) .. btw .. this is a big plush .. if you are wondering how this would fit .. lol. on the left wrist will be a bracelet i made for her (with her nickname) and something she gave me on our first date.

There's something else but ..

Good luck .. whatever it is .. as long as its from you (and it isnt something like a cashiers check / gift card to red lobster haha / a bowling ball with your name engraved in it-think homer) I'm sure she'll love it.

I'd say .. go with something that has some sort of significance between you two =P.

Back on topic: Useful thread this, because I am still procrastinating about a present for my wife. Spa sounds nice and I know will be appreciated. I also know that she wants to take up Yoga again, so that might open up possibilities.

Ahh, now I get it. Havent you noticed I type most of my posts this way. It's interesting how I dont use excessive dot'age on papers and reports .

Sorry if it's irritating. I guess it's a bad habit I picked up somewhere. It seems like i lay down some dots every time i pause when typing. Maybe it keeps my fingers primed to type when the right word comes up or something.

Anyways, Good Morning Grumpy Head

I picked it up on MSN, and its stayed that way since. I can stop it if I want, but I think I use it because it's part of my personality, and how I view everything.

make a gift. DO NOT (and I hope you never thought of this) give her little IOU cards for 1 free massage, 1 free kiss etc. (Self serving stuff that'll only piss her off) It apparently on works if your name is Captain Obvious. (It's so hard to type without "..." I'm just now noticing how often I do this) Every time I end a sentence, my fingers want to continue with ATLEAST 2 more dots.

My latest posts have been typed without triple dots. It's very hard and I'm making friends with the Backspace key. Are you guys English Majors or something?!? What's with all the complaints?!? It's just a post on a forum board. What makes three dots worse than !!!11!!!one!!

someone?!? Anyone?!?

Me and the gf make suree we don't get caught up in the obligatory present cycle. If we see something throughout the yeaar that we think the other person would like, we get it. Otherwise for Christmas/Birthdays and Anniversaries we do the really nice dinner in a restaurant thing or even take a trip somewhere.

My suggestion would be getting something that made her feel good, be it food, spa, dildo, a few grams of coke, whatever.

In fact being in Sinagapore would make the danger aspect that much more romantic.

Yes, thinking of tennis lessons (see above). And yes, posting with lots of ... and p3wn3ds and ?!? and other written detritus makes for difficult reading and paints one in a certain in a certain age group and mindset that is not that positive.

Make sure the tennis instructor is butt ugly, or castrated. There's two reasons behind this. Spliff Daddy might be into tennis (uh oh). The second reason is hilarious. I seem to recall the first pr0n mag I ever saw. It's as silly as most pr0n movies where the situations dont make sense. I recall a "Tennis Instructor" nailing a "student" *cough* years ago - funny how I can remember that.

what's with "teh" and "pr0n"

been wondering about those for a while too (i know what they both mean, it's just the origins that I'm interested in)

Doesn't sound like she needs anything. Hmm. Here are few things I came up with:
Um, Obligatory Diamonds/Jewelry Recommendation [Reminded of a Family Guy Spoof of a Diamond commercial]
Fancy restaurant?
Get out of bad sex card?

Oh, oh, you could always name a star after her!
