I'm trying to track down some large chocolate bars. I'm looking for 1 and 10 pound bars. Premium brands. The hard part is they need to be kosher.
I'm just north of Washington DC, but I don't have a car. If I can order online that'd be great.
I've had little luck finding anything that meets what I'm looking for. If someone can help me find some, I'd appreciate it.

Don't know if it's kosher, but it says Happy Chanukah.

if there's a Whole Foods near you, they have large chunks of chocolate. Not sure if they have 10 pounds, but 1 pound shouldn't be a problem. Or you could melt down several smaller pieces in a pan and re-solidify them into one big bar.

or this:

I just finished a book about an antarctic expedition and they ate a ton of chocolate. High in calories, and easy to transport. Any chance of you going to antartica?

I saw bars of Hershey's a couple weeks ago at a Sam's Club in Colo that were the size of that in TailsToo's pic. I didn't dare go near the display, but... at your own risk.

My mom came up with the bright idea of giving me ten pound nestle crunch bars at christmas time. Over the course of a year, I would eat maybe a quarter of it and then the next one would show up. The only upside of the nestle plant closing is that I no longer receive a yule tide chocolate that could feed a starving third world village.

ThinkInsane, would the crunchbar go stale?

Lindor man .. I hate those .. ugh .. grease balls.

I like hard dark chocolate. low fat content (not the creamy truffly stuff but the hard bars that take a while to melt) and bitter sweet. i dont like that milk/white chocolate junk

I'd just throw it in the refrigerator and once in a while take a hammer and bust a piece off. Does chocolate go stale? I never noticed. I'm not a huge chocolate eater, which always made me wonder about that particular choice of gifts.

The Chocolate Dipper would be a great place to visit for specialty made chocolate.

Right because after all we Canadians with our third world economy could never support stores that cared novelty sized amounts of chocolate...

I never said anything about canada eh. Why did you assume that I feel that way? Or is it your own simple "nationalistic" nature to automatically defend your country when it isn't even being attacked?

canada has a great economy. I just thing the tax burden on the citizens is too high. But they can still afford huge gourmet chocolate bars made in the USA.

Novelty??? Those are personal sized bars!

Thanks to everyone who helped me track them down. One will probably be [partially] eaten tomorrow night. By May, they'll all be gone.
