Saw this cool bit on the Discovery website:

Watch the aerial dog-fight clip. The Eagle does a 180-degree barrel-roll to flash its talons at another bird. Some crazy impressive shite!

That eagle cam is awesome.

I just saw this on TV - incredible! Of course, they had cameras that they could pan and move under radio control. They also had a huge parabolic dish to receive the signals.

Is anyone else getting really low frame-rates while watching this? On my system, Safari can only play these Flash movies at 5 fps.

Played fine for me. The actual eagle cam was sometimes choppy, but it looked to me like that had to do with the footage taken from the eagle cam, because the other footage looked pretty smooth (20-25fps maybe)

Maybe update your flash plugin?

That's some amazing video footage. I would not hold an eagle that close to my face, though. Beaks and eyes don't go well together.
