This is weird - maybe should be a safari post, but I periodically look at CNN to see what apple stock did during a day when various news was coming out about apple products, law suits... etc.

Safari lets me look up the AAPL on the money.cnn page
( http://money.cnn.com/quote/quote.htm...&symb=AAPL )
...usually.

Tonight it *crashes* Safari - four times so far. Mac IE shows it fine, so it's not the overall CNN processing.

Anybody else experience this? Does CNN own shares of MSFT ?

Man, this is weird. This is still happening this morning. Almost the whole page displays properly, some ads as yet unloaded. Then Safari disappears. I may have to re-post this in Software forum.

PS: I've got no add-on except "SafariSource" for colorizing ViewSource. No Pithelmet or anything.

UPDATE: Sort of as a joke I'd tried a url to see if looking up MS would have same effect:
http://money.cnn.com/quote/quote.htm...&symb=MSFT
That link opened fine (2 min after "symb=AAPL" crashed Safari).
Immediately thereafter trying to display
http://money.cnn.com/quote/quote.htm...&symb=AAPL
worked just fine.

It seems that if you are too Apple-centric, money.CNN requires you "reset" your Safari life with a peek at MSFT !

Yes, show me anybody who doesn't wish they'd thrown all their available cash at apple a year ago
