Moki, please deliver as soon as possible a 3D version of Bubble Trouble that is so intense that it requires the latest graphics cards, 4 GB of RAM, and no less than dual 2 GHz G5s.

THAT would be one helluvalotta bubble trouble!

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

All I wanted for Christmas is a version of Aki that plays full screen in something higher than 800X600. And a timer that lets me keep track of my best times on each puzzle.

But I guess it wasn't in the cards. And yes, I did download the update.

If Ambrosia really wanted to make my Christmas, they'd finally rlease a networked adaptation of Escape Velocity.

To get my fix, I have to turn on my PC and play Subspace.

Am I the only one defending Christmas here? All I'm doing is sticking up for the baby Jesus. Somewhere Jesus is weeping.

The holiday that christmas was placed over I'd think. Not that christmas ever had that much to do with jesus really.

There was no one Holiday Christmas was "placed over". There was many holidays at the time. Rome though it would be more convenient to place Christmas during this time.

This would like saying Quansica or however it's spelled needs to find a different month to celebrate in!!11 its sill.

My point was, Christmas never stole any holiday. Esp not one he was celebrating.

Christmas was around a lot longer than he.

Glad you agree. I thought you were an ignorant Christian, too.

No, Christians stole Easter from Celts, who's varied mythology has a large part in Wicca. Wicca is a fairly recent religion, a more formalized adaptation of many different mythos.

Christians stole "Christmas" from the Romans, who stole it from the Greeks.

I'm aware of that. Wicca came into being through the efforts of Charles Leland, and was further refined (and some say exploited) by Gerald Gardner, A. Crowley's best friend.

As for the holiday, Saturnalia is on the 17th (sometimes the 17th through the 23rd), not the 25th. We celebrate both in this house, without causing any problems. What's the big deal?

The Christians established Christmas around the same time as Saturnalia to "Chrtianize" it and remove a popular pagan holiday. Constantine eventually made it "official."

No. No one "stole" anything.

That is like you saying Quansica stole Christmas. And Christmas stole Hannaku.

100% silly. No one STOLE anything.

Just more pagan elitist wanna be silliness.

If you don't like christmas, why don't you ignore it instead of whining about how offensive it is to you and your precious ego?

Thanks for the Holiday Wishes, moki.

PS: I saw the egg pics on your forums. You should make sure that Hector's diet has extra calcium if she is laying eggs. Egg laying can drain the nutrients from a bird. As a fellow African Grey owner, I owe it to you to tell you this.

I'm a bird. I am the 1% (of pets).

Yes, Saturnalia as said many times here. The church was all for white-washing over "pagan" holidays and such and making them christian.

I'm not even going to try to read that sentence.

It wasn't "stolen". It was used to replace another holiday and further convert the population.

No, it doesn't. It didn't at its conception because the bishop presumed responsible knew very well that Christ was probably not born that day. Then Santa, a mixture of Christian belief/legend and paganisim, comes along and your American Christmas truly becomes amusing. Christ never celebrated his birthday, never suggest or condoned the doing of such. It is a purely catholic invention that has since lost all meaning. Maybe some evangelicals pretend to celebrate his birth, a mostly unimportant event, but I'll bet they still exchange gifts.

Ambush is in college. He needs to spend time studying therefore he doesn't have time to code full games.

An I believe ambrosia has been doing ports mostly.
