I can get a 200 pack for $60 and want to know how reliable it is (I still have 195 Kodak Gold+Silver 12x 650MB I bought two years ago (since I was told they weren't doing CD's any more (not in the store, before I got there) for $200. I still prefer them though). Any experience with Mitsumi and their reliability? it's silver/blue die.

Thanks all

I thought Mitsumi was the ones who made the Apple DVD-R's and are thought of as the best.

Didn't know they made the Apple ones. I thought they owned the patent for gold dye. I see other brands that are more expensive (BenQ ??).

Anyone else have any experience? I got a Kodak blue dye 100 pack but it was +R even though the invoice says -R and was $70. I would use it for my valueable backups and the for non critical stuff.

I have a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-105 A506. Does it support DVD+R? I got sent a 100 +R pack when we had ordered a -R pack? I don't think it supports +R. It is a 4x drive. I also got a 5 pack of TDK 2x DVD-RW's should I exchange to 4x (if they exist?)
