I love it - thank you macnn.

Code:
// Instructions: // 1. Create a file on your web server called ad.js using a text editor. // (any name with the .js extension will work) // 2. Paste this code into the .js file // 3. Update the "... Javascript URL" in your Fastclick default to point to the .js file on your server. var dz=document; dz.writeln(""); dz.writeln(""); dz.writeln("");

Just an error with their ad server that has already been addressed a million and one times.

Nothing to see here, move along folks.

Why do I feel clueless on posts like these? I'm a bright girl- what the hell are we talking about- timeline or not.

(Hey I'm just trying to learn)

That's the code that suppose to grab the ad content from the ad server, but as Scifience already mentioned, there was probably just an error with the ad server being overwhelmed with requests or something related. It would be nice if there was a way to display nothing instead of the code.

We're talking about things that have already been posted (often more than once). Do a search for a line of that code that was posted and you will see it turn up a bunch of times.

In other words, the timeline/what I said basically means "this has been posted a million times before - why are you posting it again?" A way of lightly making fun of the original poster, perhaps.
