I've been doing that for the past 15 years or so.

Saw him speak recently. He's definitely an interesting man with many good ideas, and the world would be a better place if we all lived how he suggests, however I was struck with the impression that he'd be the worst nagging neighbour in the world to have.
But yeah, everyone should try to do these things.
head over to his websire for more: http://www.davidsuzuki.org/

Good advice. I try to reduce my ecological footprint where I can. I am guilty of traveling a fair amount by jet, so I try to make up for it in other ways.

Try gliding instead, you know for those short routes.
That list is easy for me. Except for #1, as I'm looking around and I don't see anything I can afford to turn off.
I'm a huge, huge supporter of the public transit/alternative to car philosophy. That said I love a caar trip as much as the next guy. I'll be guilty of some serious mileage in a couple weeks when i'll be driving from San Francisco to San Diego and back up to Sacremento, possibly meandering through the desert.
But we'll be two, so that's at least a little bit efficient.
