I've been lurking these forums for a little while now, and decided I may as well join the community as it seems to be filled with quite a smattering of humour and entertaining flame wars at times. Oh, and of course.. the useful information and good conversation!

I was also wondering if there was anyone here from the Barrie, Ontario region?

Actually, I love Toronto... except for certain stretches of highway

West end, right next to high park. work downtown though.

i always thought Toronto/Barrie had this Springfeild/Shelbyville thing going on.

Love stopping in Barrie for food on the way up north.

I visited Barrie a few years ago with the wife. Nice town. We stayed at a bed and breakfast for two nights there.

We stopped there during a driving tour around Lake Michigan. One of my favorite vacations.

I was in Ontario for 5 years, in Toronto; never had the chance to visit Barrie though. Next time I will!

For the flames, you need to go in the Political Lounge. I mean, real flames (though some say it is like a buddhist temple compared to others...).
